The Ruger LCR is the evolution of the revolver. Its monolithic frame is made from aerospace-grade, 7000 series aluminum in .22 LR, .22 Magnum and .38 Spl +P models and from 400 series stainless steel in the powerful .357 Magnum, 9mm Luger and .327 Federal Magnum models. The patented friction reducing cam is a next generation design in fire control systems that results in a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull and the patented polymer fire control housing holds all the fire control components

Ruger Lcr Capacity
The Ruger LCR is available in .38 Special and .357 Magnum and has a 5 round cylinder. The .357 Magnum version is fully capable of chambering and safely firing .38 Special loads and has no issue firing the .38 Special +P loads.
Ruger Lcr Feature
The Ruger LCR is an affordable revolver specifically designed for concealed carry. This revolver is built with a 1.87 inch barrel topped with non-adjustable sights that include a fixed front blade and a rear sight notch that is molded into the frame. This revolver fires from a double-action trigger pull and has an internal hammer underneath the polymer overmold.
Ruger Lcr Ergonomics
The LCR has very typical controls for a revolver and has a Hogue style grip that is just large enough to accommodate the ring and middle finger of the user. The trigger pull is rather long and heavy but the pull is butter-smooth. This was a design choice as the gun has no external safety to improve its usefulness as a defensive-carry revolver.
Ruger Lcr Concealability
The Ruger LCR measures 6.5 inches long and 4.5 inches tall making it one of the smallest revolvers available that is chambered in a practical caliber for self defense. With the right holster and some slightly-loose attire, this gun can easily be tucked away out of sight. The rounded design of the gun has two main benefits in that it improves comfort while carrying and it also prevents clothing and other stuff from getting it in the way when you draw.
Ruger Lcr Fit-N-Finish
The LCR takes a very liberal approach with its construction where its frame and barrel are completely surrounded in polymer. This plastic is hardly structural, though, and is mainly for the purposes of reducing weight and improving its practicality for concealment.
